A Due Passi Dal Mare

We loved staying so close to the beach and spending our days there, then heading up to Taormina in the evenings. The cable car is just around the corner, which made that easy. Our room was gorgeous, spotless, private, and had an amazing balcony view over the bay. Maria Grazia was a wonderful host, with great local restaurant and activity suggestions, and she was friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Breakfast was served across the road, with lovely staff, a good continental buffet selection, and more great bay views. After 7 beautiful days in Mazzarò/Taormina, I’d love to return. A Due Passi dal Mare is the only place I’d stay!

Waking up to Mazzarò Beach outside our window each morning was magical. We stayed in the blue suite, which was spacious and beautifully decorated, with soft blue tones that gave it a Mediterranean feel. The B&B was immaculate, cleaner than we expected, and the hosts, Maria Grazia and her husband Andrea, made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. They were warm and attentive, and gave us useful recommendations for dining and things to see. If you're after a lovely beach view, spotless rooms, and hosts who treat you like family, this place in Mazzarò is a real treasure. We highly recommend it!

The room was spacious, stylish, and very clean, with a great bathroom, a lovely sea-view balcony, and even some sweet treats waiting for us. The beach is just across the road, the supermarket is downstairs, restaurants are nearby, and the bus stop is an easy walk away. The Taormina cableway is around the corner, so getting to the old town was convenient. Maria and her husband were so warm and helpful. Our transport was delayed and we arrived later than planned, but that was no problem for them. They helped with our bags and gave us the tourist information and useful tips for restaurants and viewpoints. We only wish we’d had more time to enjoy the accommodation and town, so we’d need to come back. We recommend it to anyone. The breakfast was the most complete we had in all of Sicily, congratulations!

The hosts were so nice and accommodating. Our room was large, very clean, and had a comfortable bed, though the bathroom was outside the room. The spot is great, just a few steps from the sea and a small public beach access. Breakfast at the restaurant next door was good. Beautiful view and good value for money.
