The view is absolutely stunning for the price. From the balcony you can see the sea, Etna volcano, and a fantastic nighttime view. The breakfast, though, is quite poor: all I was served was bread, coffee, yogurt and juice, with no protein like eggs, ham or bacon. The biggest problem is how difficult it is to get there. The road is too narrow, steep and unpaved. If you had an accident, you'd lose your life by falling to the ground.

The building, its setting and design are incredible, and the care and consideration are clear. It's built on family land, and the hotel's matriarch is an absolute darling. We communicated in German and Italian.
