The hosts were so friendly and easy to reach, and they shared useful details about the apartment, local restaurants, getting around, and what to see in Taormina. The location made it simple to get to the beach, train and bus stations, Taormina, Isola Bella, Giardini Naxos, and the airport. We had everything we needed for our July trip in a clean, high-standard apartment. The air conditioning was especially good. We had an amazing stay and would happily come back.

Controvento apaprtement was a comfortable, cool place to stay in summer, just five minutes from the beach. It also made a good base for getting to Etna, Catania, and Taormina. A nice balance for an active, interesting holiday, with everything close by.
