The apartment itself was lovely, clean, and beautiful, and only a few minutes' walk from Taormina's center. But we booked it because it had air conditioning, and it didn't work. Nobody made any effort to fix it, and we got no reply. A few minutes after arriving, we also reported that there was no toilet paper. Again, no response and no solution. Nights were extremely hot, but opening the windows meant dealing with very loud street noise. They showed no willingness to solve problems. We absolutely don't recommend this place.

A brand-new property, beautifully presented, in a great location.

The room was lovely and had all the comforts needed for a relaxing few days. The owner was kind and helpful. The real problem was the parking the property suggested: the owner was very rude and got upset when we didn't have cash. We offered a credit card, bank transfer, or PayPal, but he wouldn't accept any of them and insisted on cash only. We had to drive down into town to get cash, then go back up the 10-minute hill to pay. It was very inconvenient. We recommend the property, but strongly advise against that parking lot.
