Hotel Natalina

We were having trouble finding somewhere to stay in Taormina that evening, then came across this cozy hotel. The hosts were available around the clock and made us feel very welcome. Our room was quiet, very clean, and nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed and mattress. Breakfast was included, and the location made it easy to walk to the beach and lots of nice places. We liked it enough to extend our stay. I can only say good things about the hotel.

The staff were very nice, and it's about a five minute walk to the centre, with some good parking nearby. From the balcony there's also a partial sea view. But I barely slept during my four days there. The mattress was rock hard and lumpy, and there was no sound insulation at all. I could hear my neighbours, absolutely everything. Breakfast was very limited, with a solid egg mixture that nobody touched.

The hotel is close to Taormina's main attractions, though getting there means dealing with a lot of steps. For an expensive town, the prices are great, and breakfast was better than most of the basic breakfasts I had in Sicily. It's a cozy family hotel, the rooms are good, and the people are super nice.

The breakfast was great, and the staff were very nice. The location is handy for both the beach and the city, but the rooms feel old. The shower was a mess because the shower head wouldn't stay in place. The central AC was loud and not very powerful, and you could only switch it on or off.
