Mediterranean Apartments

I stayed a month and never ran out of things to do in Taormina. I enjoyed the jazz festival and Simple Minds concert, and I’ll definitely be back next year. The apartment had a great location, about five minutes on foot from the supermarket and ten from the lively main street, full of good restaurants and bars. We took two tours with Excursions Sicily and driver Antonio, to Mt Etna with lunch and on the Godfather tour, both fantastic. Giardini Naxos beach was 15 minutes away by bus, and I’d recommend Lido da Angelo. I loved swimming in the ocean, and Castlemola is worth a bus trip too. The wraparound balcony was a nice spot to watch butterflies and hear birds. The pool was clean and had loungers. There was plenty for cooking, including a microwave, coffee machines, kettle, condiments, spices, oils, biscuits, and more. A washing machine and clothes horse were useful, and beach towels were available on request. The furniture was nice, the beds were firm, and there were big bath towels and lots of toiletries. We loved everything about Mediterranean Apartment and I’d highly recommend it.

The owners were kind, helpful, and very professional, ready to take care of our needs. Having parking was a huge help in Taormina and made everything easier. The apartment was spotless and so well looked after, with comfortable, practical spaces that felt like home. It’s in a great spot for taking relaxed walks, enjoying the views, and getting around. A restful, top-quality stay that beat our expectations. We’d happily return.

For a Taormina trip that gives you the lively center and a peaceful place to retreat to, Mediterranean Apt is a great choice. It deserves its five stars. Highly recommended.

We stayed in March and found it good value for money. The apartment is renovated and clean, with the things you need, including oil and salt. Parking was a real plus, and it’s only a 5-10 minute walk to the city center. I’d recommend it for two days. The terrace is very large, though the view wasn’t very pleasant. Getting from the street to the apartment means taking two elevators and then climbing one flight of stairs, which is awkward with luggage. Walking is easier.
