The views were a highlight every morning, and Gabriele at the pool bar was another standout. He was warm, attentive, and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. His hospitality deserves five stars. The Panoramic Hotel has a spectacular location and scenery, and though it’s at the bottom of the hill outside Taormina itself, the cable car made it a convenient base for exploring. Our room was comfortable but felt dated and could use a refresh to live up to the setting and what we expected from the property. Service was uneven. Some interactions were pleasant, but the front desk staff often seemed standoffish and not very welcoming. Gabriele and the views made the visit memorable, though better rooms and a warmer front desk would make a big difference.

We had a great holiday and would happily return. From our balcony, the breakfast terrace, and the rooftop bar, the sea view of Isola Bella was breathtaking. Breakfast had a delicious, varied buffet, especially the cakes and pastries. The rooftop pool and bar felt luxurious, and we were even given a beach bag and flip flops. The hotel was spotless and beautifully decorated, with lots of well cared for plants and flowers. Every member of staff was friendly and provided five-star service. Thanks to the reception, restaurant, and housekeeping teams, and to Gabriele for running such an excellent rooftop bar.

The staff made this lovely hotel, always warm and friendly and happy to chat and laugh with us. The views were fantastic, and our large, very clean rooms had plenty of useful extras, including slippers, flip flops, and beach bags. Breakfast was tasty and offered a good variety. There are bars and restaurants right outside, and Taormina is easy to reach, with the funicular only two minutes away. A staircase a minute away also leads up to Taormina. It was a challenging but enjoyable walk, and we saw people of all ages and abilities using it, with plenty of places to rest. The hotel was excellent value for what I paid.

Gabriel made us feel welcome as soon as we got to the pool, bringing drinks and snacks. My wife and I really enjoyed the rooftop and the service there. We hope we can return someday!

The pool service was a highlight, especially Gabrielle, who was so lovely and went out of her way to look after us. We stayed at the Panoramic Hotel last week with my parents, and our spacious family room was spotless with very comfortable beds. The location was perfect, with stunning views, and the service was great throughout. We'd love to come back. 100% recommend.
