Our host kindly collected us from the Taormina bus station late at night, which we really appreciated. The apartment is clean and spacious, with an air-conditioned double bedroom, kitchenette, living room with a sofa bed, and a tidy shower room and toilet. Outside, the patio has plenty of seating, the gardens are well maintained, and there's ample off-road parking. A very quiet, shady beach beside Cherry Bar café is only a five-minute walk away, something you might miss because Isola Bella is so popular. Lower town takes about 15 minutes on foot along a busy road, and the train runs close by. Neither was a major problem for us. The upper town is reached by cable car. We'd happily recommend the apartment for visiting Taormina and the surrounding parts of Sicily.

We really enjoyed our stay. The beach is a five-minute walk away, and it's about 15 minutes on foot to the cable car for an easy trip up to Taormina. The railway is right next door, but it didn't disturb our sleep at all. The owners were quite slow to reply to messages, and we couldn't get the hob working or reach them to ask how. That's the only reason I haven't given five stars.

We had a pleasant week here, with a nice shady terrace and a very friendly person in charge. The location is convenient for the beaches, and the cableway to Taormina is about a 15-minute walk away. The apartment itself was nice, but the second bedroom was actually in the living room. Since the air conditioning was in the bedroom, the person sleeping in the living room had trouble sleeping. The windowless bathroom had the same problem.
