Villa Giannina

The location was perfect, the room comfortable and clean, and breakfast was great. Everyone at Villa Giannina was really friendly and accommodating. They know what they're doing here. Grazie mille.

We waited 10 minutes for Giuseppe to arrive, even though we'd sent several messages with our ETA. There was no car parking anywhere near the Villa, despite what we'd been told before booking. Of the two rooms, one was OK, but the other was completely unacceptable unless you were a poor student. It had no window, and a plastic shower curtain separated the bathroom from the bedroom. We raised this with Giuseppe, who was understanding and agreed to a full refund if we didn't post a review. Later, his company again agreed to refund our 480 Euro prepayment and even asked for our bank details. Six weeks and 20 phone calls later, we're still waiting. These people are dishonest.

We were greeted by the host, who showed us where to park since it can be a bit of a challenge. The place has a beautiful terrace with a nice view, an amazing breakfast, and very kind people. It was a fabulous stay, though it got super noisy from 7AM, with people going up and down the stairs and shouting.

We stayed at the villa for 3 days as two families, using 4 rooms. Joseph, the owner, is an amazing, extremely kind person who really cares that everyone is comfortable and has what they need. Whenever a problem came up, he came right away to sort it out. The cook made excellent food and was very nice too. We highly recommend the villa.
