It's listed as a hotel on Booking.com, though it feels more like a B&B or guesthouse. Reception is staffed only until 8.00 p.m. The location is great, just a short walk from the cable car station that goes up to the old town. On the very twisty road, the driveway to the villa is easy to miss.

The room had a beautiful sea view, and the location was wonderful. Breakfast was dull and boring, so for that money I'd eat somewhere outside. The owner seemed friendly at first, but we had a misunderstanding at checkout because my travel agency delayed paying the property directly. That wasn't my fault, yet the owner became aggressive, yelling and acting ignorantly. As a female traveler, I definitely didn't feel safe or comfortable around him. I'd recommend staying somewhere else in Taormina.

The roof terrace room gave us lovely views of the ocean and Sicilian landscape, and the building itself is so romantic. We spent a few days at the lovely Villa Moschella in Taormina, and it became one of our favorite holidays. The owner's family made breakfast fresh with so much care each morning. It was the best breakfast I've ever had, especially the delicious crispy croissants with powdered sugar. I tried to find something similar in Germany after the trip, but couldn't. The owner, a sweet elderly lady, was so kind and even gave us some traditional Sicilian marmalade when we didn't know where to buy it. Everyone went out of their way to make guests happy. I can't recommend this bed and breakfast enough!

We made great memories here. Giovanni's cappuccino was amazing, and the room was clean and charming, with a comfortable bed. It's a peaceful spot, quiet at night and close to Taormina's seafront. Definitely recommendable.
