We spent two weeks here and had a really good time. Our apartment, Il Cedro, was right by the pool and had lovely views over the hills. It was nice and good value, and the people were very friendly. We especially enjoyed the restaurant dinners. They took our gluten-free and dairy-free needs seriously and made a real effort to make the meals enjoyable. It would have helped to see the menu or prices before booking or when we arrived. A little apartment guide would also be useful, things like how to use the TV, plus suggestions for grocery shopping and places to visit, such as villages, churches, or farmers markets. Most people spoke Italian. One person speaks English fluently and was easy to reach by phone, email, or WhatsApp, though they weren't always there in person. When ordering dinner or asking something, you don't always want to bother someone with questions.

We dropped in without planning to during the summer holidays and hadn't booked a table, but they welcomed us warmly anyway. The lovely view and setting made a great first impression, and the meal was a real treat. Chef Antonio put together a delicious menu with tasty dishes. The cozy, family-like atmosphere made us feel right at home.

We'd been to two other events at Due Melograni, so I picked it for my graduation lunch. It's in the greenery of the Sabina region, in a convenient spot for getting to Umbria or Rome. The restaurant felt welcoming and was clean, and the food was excellent for the price. The pizza was light and delicious. We especially liked the fettuccine with wild mushrooms and porcini mushrooms, ravioli with Parmesan fondue and truffle, pork tenderloin with Barbera reduction, loin porchettato, charlotte, and the other desserts. Everyone on staff was friendly and courteous. Mrs. Augusta, the owner, was exceptionally professional and courteous. We've already booked again for my parents' anniversary. Thanks to the whole staff.
