Privacy was a major problem. The owner was around the house most of the time and came into rooms while guests were asleep. At 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 28, 2025, he even entered the bathroom while it was locked and the light was on. I was naked in the shower, and he was showing a boy his reality. The new boyfriend saw me too, which was unbelievably embarrassing. There were cockroaches everywhere, and the kitchen was filthy and basically unusable. The stove didn’t work, and the water in the kitchen had a notice saying not to drink it. There was no breakfast, soap, toilet paper, or towels, and no receipt, price list, or timetable. There wasn’t even a sign with the B&B’s name on the door or bell, or a displayed CIN/CIR code. It seems possible the required SCIA filing with the municipality is missing. The place is in a very run-down 15-story building where crime is common, with stolen cars wrecked in the parking lot under the building on Via Ancona. Do not stay here. Thank you.

The apartment was spacious, but really dirty. Dust was everywhere, the rooms smelled stale, and the mattresses had springs sticking out. The sheets weren’t clean, and the fans blew dust when switched on because the air conditioning didn’t work. The kitchen was unusable, and the small fridge was greasy and dirty, barely big enough for three bottles of water. There was no hand soap, just opened bubble bath bottles that were almost empty. The shower stayed cold, even with the boiler on, which I suspect was faulty. We also spotted a cockroach. Not recommended.

The hygiene was awful, with dust and grime all over and dirty sheets. A friend of ours may have gotten dermatitis, though we don’t know if it could have come from parasites. The fridge was a mystery, and there was no real kitchen. The owner seemed to be at the house nearly all the time, often on some pretext, and would come into rooms in the morning while guests were asleep. I strongly recommend against staying here. 🤨☹👎

We found dirty sheets on the double bed, with cereal bits on them, and there wasn’t even a spare set in the house. We’d booked by WhatsApp, asking for a double room from the night of August 2nd until the afternoon of August 3rd. The reply was just, “Okay, booked... thanks.” No check-in time was mentioned, but that Saturday afternoon he called to ask where I was because check-in was at 7:30. When we arrived, he introduced us to his roommates, which we hadn’t known about, then showed us the room. At 9:30 the next morning, the owner knocked and told us to leave because the next guests had arrived. He said he’d told us the check-out time, but he hadn’t. The owner was friendly and kind, but this isn’t how you run a B&B. Look elsewhere.
