Loretta and her daughter were warm and welcoming from our very first phone call. We’d struggled to find somewhere that would accept our dog, so we were lucky to find Podere Farnesiana. It’s well kept, with lovely outdoor facilities and wonderful cultural sites nearby, including Tarquinia and the famous Etruscan tombs. Loretta makes all the food herself, including the amazing chocolate chip butter cookies served at breakfast. A peaceful place with natural beauty, authenticity, and genuine Italian hospitality. Highly recommended.

We had a generous platter of cured meats and cheeses to start, well balanced and reasonably priced, and the homemade stuffed ravioli are fabulous. The food is excellent. Set in nature with a spectacular sunset view, the farmhouse has tables, chairs, and swings outside for a relaxing aperitivo. The owner is incredibly kind and attentive to every detail. A lovely choice for a weekend or a relaxing evening, highly recommended!

We stayed two nights at this beautiful farmhouse in the countryside near Tarquinia. After an unpleasant surprise left us without a car, Loretta and Ivano kindly drove us wherever we needed to go. They also shared lots of interesting information about the area, and Ivano is a real tour guide. Dinner was fantastic, and the room was clean and very spacious. It’s a lasting memory, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

There’s plenty of greenery where you can relax, and the rooms are spotless and well maintained. The staff are very kind, friendly, and always available, and they’re open to guests’ suggestions for making the beautiful property even more enchanting. Breakfast is excellent, with homemade desserts, and the food is delicious, made with local produce. I highly recommend staying for a couple of days. We’ll definitely return!
