Hotel Haberl

The pizza was good, but the cheese antipasti tasted of onion, apparently because they'd been cut with an onion knife. It was a disgusting experience.

We're from Croatia🇭🇷 and skiing is our passion. Haberl hotel has what you might need beyond skiing. We'd read that breakfast wasn't very good, but we loved it. It's not a king's breakfast, though honestly, you're there to ski, not eat🤪⛷️ The pizzerias and cafes are a two-minute walk away🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️, and the Tarvisio ski resort is two minutes by car🚘. It's amazing. We'll definitely be back!

I found a massive piece of glass in my drink, even though the glass itself wasn't broken. At first I thought it was a lemon seed, but thankfully I spat it out. I showed the piece to the waitress and, I think, the owner, and told them what had happened. They apologized, but didn't even replace the drink 😂 The calamari weren't good either. Never again.

The restaurant is a real gamble in the best sense: the prices are very low for the quality of the food, which deserves to be at a higher level and price. The staff were attentive and careful, and served everything promptly despite cooking to order. Breakfast in the typical Alpine-style room was delicious, with lots of choice and very high quality, including many homemade cakes. The double room was plain and clean, but overpriced next to the single room, costing almost twice as much without extra comfort. I'd likely come back, and dinner here is a good choice.
