Free parking is right beside the building, tucked behind a gate, and the lake is an easy short walk away for a swim. There’s also a great pizzeria nearby. The room felt like a work of art, really one of a kind, and the host was warm and helpful with ideas for things to do around here. Breakfast was good too.

I didn’t mind the shared bathroom at all, and the breakfast was so good they even made sandwiches for us. The hosts were lovely, and everything about the place and the welcome felt special. I had a great time in this beautiful village. Honestly, the price had me expecting less, but it was beyond what I hoped for. If I come back this way, I’m staying here again. This is just what I love about Italy.

While I was in town for Lago Film Fest, I stayed at Ms Donatella’s home. La Casa Del Pittore is well located, with a comfortable bed and a lovely breakfast. I also really liked the paintings and distinctive decor.

The room was basic but fine, especially for a night. The owners were friendly, and breakfast was great. I’d happily recommend it.
