Agritur Renetta

My daughter had a medical emergency two days before our trip, so we couldn't check in for the one-night stay we'd booked as her birthday present. We'd paid over 150 euros and were really looking forward to it. I called the hotel, explained what happened, and sent the emergency room paperwork, but they wouldn't let us move the booking, even to a low season date or another time that suited them. They said guests often change their minds and they couldn't afford to leave a paid room empty, though the room stayed unoccupied anyway. They offered a small voucher, but using it would mean spending another 100 euros on a future night. I didn't think the room was worth 250 euros, so I passed. I hoped they'd understand that emergencies happen, but after sending proof of my daughter's situation, we still got no flexibility. What a disappointment, and it felt unfair.

So warm and welcoming here. The host was really friendly, and breakfast came in generous portions. The homemade cakes were lovely, and the apple juice, freshly pressed from their own production, was so good.

The breakfast was a letdown, even compared with other places we stayed in Italy. Mostly jams and cereals, with no cheese, ham, or eggs. The room itself was spotless and comfortable, and the view from the window was nice. We only stayed one night and arrived quite late, but the hostess was there to meet us and was very kind.

The staff are generous with their help and always ready to lend a hand during your stay.
