Residence Rossini

It’s extremely clean, and guests can use the supplies for cleaning, laundry, and changing towels and bedding. The owners are kind and helpful, and leave what you need for cooking and breakfast, including fruit. You’re left in peace, and if an owner needs to water the plants or clean the pool, they let you know first and never enter the house. The villa in Tavernerio (CO) is reached by a private road, but everyday shops and services are all within walking distance: pharmacy, grocery store, tobacconist, bar, bakery, newsagent, and more. The house is unusual and lovely, with a huge living room and a wall of windows facing the large garden. It’s very quiet. In summer there’s an above-ground pool with loungers and a big umbrella, plus a porch with an extendable table, chairs, and outdoor seating. There’s also a barbecue and a large fountain in the garden, with woodland you can reach on foot. Inside are two double bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom and bathtub, and a twin bedroom. There’s another bathroom with a shower on the same floor, plus a laundry room with a washing machine and ironing area. The kitchen has an oven, microwave, and dishwasher. A cot is available for small children. You can really make yourself at home. Excellent!

The owners made us feel comfortable as soon as we arrived. The villa is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, and set among greenery. It’s in a great spot, peaceful but close to the town center. I’ll definitely be back. Perfect score.

There’s plenty of room for up to 6 people, and the furnishings are excellent. The accommodation is very well maintained, and I’d stay again. It’s just not especially cheap.

A gorgeous, spacious villa with a lovely garden and view. The hostess was friendly and pleasant. Highly recommended.
