The service was very good.

We had a lovely meal at Ilenu, and there's a broad choice of meat and fish dishes. Just watch out when using Google Maps to find the street, as there is another restaurant with the same name nearby. We booked through the Fork with a 20% discount. The outdoor garden is lovely, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful. Our food arrived quickly, and ordering was possible, which is rare in Salento. We had two starters, including a huge and delicious Frisa Salentina, then a generous, tasty spaghetti alla chitarra, followed by divine bombette con patatine, which were quite a challenge to finish. It came to €44. A must-go every night!!!

What a lovely discovery. We were very pleased with the prices, the friendly, helpful service, and the food at the B&B L'Ulivo restaurant. The mixed meat and cheese platter was a good size for two, and the burrata was delicious. The standout for me was the calamari carbonara, which I highly recommend. The first courses are delicious too, with options like seafood spaghetti with swordfish and almonds, sagne with white ragù, and orecchiette with octopus ragù. Portions are generous, so we stopped there, though the second courses looked well worth trying. They bring local dishes together with modern creativity.
