We spent six nights in the studio and really enjoyed the stay. The property is spacious, with a lovely atmosphere and plenty of quiet, cozy spots to relax. Nunzia was so sweet and thoughtful, and the service was great while still giving us lots of freedom. We also loved the pool and breakfast, with homegrown fruit and local specialties. It was a real joy to stay at this B&B.

A peaceful place near the sea, and lovely for children, with a playground under the pines and some farm animals. We grilled fish and shrimps from the market on the barbecue. The owner puts so much care into the property, which gives it a welcoming, family feel. Thank you so much, Nuzia.

The care from Nunzia and Luigi stayed with us as much as the countryside itself. They welcomed us warmly and did their best to meet every request, making us feel looked after from the first day to the last. We loved the breakfasts and dinners outdoors, the homemade biscuits and pasticciotti, evenings roasting food, the sweet kittens, the pine grove with its unusual children's games, and the roosters greeting us in the morning. The pool was spotless, surrounded by palm and olive trees, and Mr. Luigi brought us authentic limoncello each evening. We're going to miss them and will definitely return. I'd recommend this place to anyone reading. Our daughter was very sad on departure morning. Even though new guests were arriving and we needed to leave the room, Mrs. Nunzia let us stay past our scheduled time and invited us to enjoy the outdoor areas, including the pine grove and pool, as long as we wanted. That kind of hospitality is common in the south, but it isn't something you can take for granted. We're from Puglia and choose to travel in our own region for that very reason. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

We had a lovely, peaceful weekend at B&B Macchia Salentina, and the barbecue made it even more special. The property feels welcoming and is a great place to unwind. The woman who runs the B&B was fantastic, so kind and helpful, and made us feel at home right away. I was especially touched by the family atmosphere; we felt like part of it, not just guests. Highly recommended if you want some quiet and that warm Salento welcome. ❤️

La Macchia Salentina was a great base for our short August holiday. It was easy to get to both Salento's popular beaches and its quieter, less-known ones, as well as Lecce and Gallipoli. We appreciated the parking and especially the pool in the August heat. The children had handmade wooden toys to play with in the garden. Our room was spotless and had a kitchenette, and Nunzia and Luigi treated us to homemade local sweets, prickly pears and fresh eggs. Highly recommended for a stay in Salento!
