Residence Cala Verde

We spent three weeks here in July 2025, and it was a fairly pleasant stay. The rooms are spacious, as the photos show, with the basic comforts and what you need for a short visit. Reception staff were friendly and attentive. The place seems to still be under construction. The work looks well done, but the property could use more upkeep. Because of the wind, we often ended up leaving things outside. There's a supermarket right across the road, and you can find pretty much whatever you need there. Racale has several chain supermarkets too, and there are well-stocked restaurants along the road. The location is handy for getting around the coast. The sea is close, though the beaches aren't ideal for spending every day there with small children: one is small and the other is open sea. There's also a kind of seafront promenade with a playground. One thing to keep in mind is who else is staying nearby. The prices are comfortable, so there are many young guests, and despite complaints they can be quite rude during quiet hours. We got a lot less rest because of it.

We came with our children during the weeks of August 2025, along with five other families. The rooms were clean, practical, and had air conditioning. It's a great base for exploring Salento, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and ready to help with any request. Highly recommended, thank you!

A week we'll remember for a long time. We stayed with seven other families, each in our own apartment, and the roomy outdoor areas gave us space to spend time together. Sharing dinners at long tables in the evenings became one of our favorite memories from the holiday. The staff were always kind and helpful, and made us feel at home. The apartments were clean, welcoming, and had everything we needed. Being able to do laundry during reception hours was a real help too. The sea is very close, with Gallipoli's beautiful beaches only a short drive away, and there's a well-stocked supermarket nearby. We had peaceful, fun days here, and will treasure the stay.

Mr. Riccardo looked after us all week and shared so much useful advice. He was a delight, and the rest of the staff were warm and welcoming too. The sea is just a few steps away, and the location makes it easy to visit Salento's most beautiful beaches. Our house was clean, fresh, airy, and had all the comforts we needed for a relaxing holiday. The residence is quiet, new, and well maintained. Thank you for giving us one of our loveliest memories of Puglia!
