Residence Punta Pizzo

The apartment was clean, well cared for, and had everything we needed. It was easy to explore the area from there, then come back in the evening to a quiet, welcoming place. We spent ten lovely days here, and Teresa made them even better. She welcomed us warmly, was always around if we needed anything, and even greeted us with delicious Apulian sweets. We used the apartment as a base to visit Salento: Gallipoli, Punta Prosciutto, Lecce, Marina di Ugento, Pescoluse, Torre dell'Orso, Otranto, and Santa Maria di Leuca. Otranto was the farthest, about an hour's drive. We went to Lecce in the evening because of the heat, and found it enchanting. Punta Prosciutto was the best, and I especially recommend Punta Pizzo Bay. The apartment is only a few minutes by car from Gallipoli and its beaches, and it's comfortable, spotless, and supplied with everything we needed for a memorable holiday. The owner helped us throughout and did what they could to meet every request. Marina di Mancaversa also has two small, charming beaches that local families with children often visit.
