Sunny Stay in Tavullia Hills

The owners were great and quick to help whenever we asked; they both speak good English as well as Italian. The place sits up on a hill, with a lovely view from the upstairs apartment. The rooms work for a family with two kids, though they’re not really suited to four adults. The winding drive with all its tight turns takes a bit of getting used to.

The pool is beautiful and generously sized, and the hosts gave us excellent suggestions for outings. Our apartment had a huge balcony facing three ways, even bigger than the apartment itself, with amazing views across the rolling countryside right out to the sea. Highly recommended.

Pool towels were included, and when anything came up, the service was good. There were only three loungers and two chairs for five people, plus one parasol. The apartment had good equipment and the cleanliness was okay for the price. There’s no air conditioning.

We were greeted so warmly by the owner, who treated us to all sorts of delicious goodies. The villa is magnificent, with lovely apartments and a superb pool, and the setting is stunning, with views all the way to the Adriatic Sea. Absolutely fantastic!
