The location in San Nicolo' worked perfectly for us as a base for Teramo, the coastal towns, Campli, and Canzano. It's residential and felt very safe, with parking a few dozen meters away near a wedding favor shop on the main road, plus other lots across the road. The building has an elevator, clean shared stairs, and friendly neighbors. We stayed at Mary B&B for 8 nights over Christmas. I'm from Teramo but live elsewhere, and I felt at home there. Mariapia, her husband, and son were so kind and attentive, like being looked after at your parents' house. The daily cleaning was thorough: floors swept, beds carefully made with all sheet layers replaced, towels changed each day, bathrooms cleaned well, and kitchen towels replaced. Sheets were changed every three days. The fridge was always stocked with lactose-free milk, water, peach/lemon tea, and biscuits for coffee. Each room had a numbered shelf and an assigned table. The coffee machine was ready every morning, and there were plenty of breakfast snacks and biscuits, including gluten-free options. It was cleaner than a hotel, honestly. We'll definitely return, and recommend it for an affordable, comfortable, quiet stay in the area.
