Agriturismo Sa Tanca Noa

We picked this Agriturismo because the dinner reviews sounded great. From our experience, though, it wasn’t reliable. They said they’d provide dinner, then didn’t follow through. They could have told us ahead of time, but it seemed they didn’t want to risk losing our B&B booking.

The homemade cakes and fruit at breakfast were fantastic, and dinner was generous, tasty Sardinian food made to suit our taste. We stayed three nights and ate at the restaurant once. It costs a bit more than other agriturismi we’ve tried in the south, but we still recommend it. We enjoyed the pool twice, both times on our own. The many rooms made us wonder about noise, but over all three nights, guests were considerate and we never had a disturbance. The rooms are in decent shape, though some bathroom fixtures are worn and the toilet makes noise when flushed. Just small details for us. The staff were honestly amazing. They run things professionally with a smile and seem to enjoy making guests feel welcome.

Dinner was one of the best meals we’ve had in Italy, and we live in Milan. The ingredients tasted so fresh and unlike anything you’d get at a supermarket, with each one coming through in its own way. Service was quick and good too. A hidden gem, definitely recommend it.

Go hungry! They serve a set menu of delicious homemade dishes made with locally grown ingredients. The owners are a family who really know how to make the experience feel special and genuinely Sardinian. Great service. Grazie.
