The place itself is good, and it’s near the sea, but the dinner service was nowhere near acceptable. We sat down at 9, and the two appetizers kept us waiting until 11. The pasta came very late, and the main course didn’t arrive until 1:30. I gave up on dessert. Who knows how long that would have taken.

The pool wasn’t open yet, which was a letdown, but the hotel has its own beach and the water was so clean and beautiful. I went for a swim and was glad I could. We checked in on June 4th during the off season, and I liked how quiet it was. Our first room was very hot since the air conditioning wasn’t on yet. The staff were accommodating and moved us to a seaside room where we could open the door for a breeze. That was much better. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, where our server spoke English and even wrote out the menu in English. The food was wonderful, and it was lovely to have wine and a good meal before heading back to our room. My husband had a meeting in Termoli, so we were able to get a late checkout because it was off season. I stayed behind and enjoyed the sea and our nice porch.

Martur Resort was a great stop on our holiday in Italy. The private beach wasn’t crowded, and there were pedalos to hire along with various activities. The staff were really helpful, and we enjoyed the restaurant. I’d recommend staying here.

The staff were nice, and the food was okay. My room had a terrace and was very well appointed, but it could have been better positioned. A generator nearby kept starting up day and night. Since I was there out of season in early April, I feel I should have been given a slightly better room.

It’s a lovely place for a vacation or a celebration, with friendly, helpful staff. The apartments are right by the beach, and the pool is nearby. Early May was lively, while the beach wasn’t very clean, though still nice for a walk. It gets very lively in June and July.
