Bed & Breakfast Domus

I've stayed in four-star hotels that had a smaller, less efficient setup than Domus, even though Domus is still a B&B. The staff were courteous, the rooms spacious and clean, and the sea was close by. Breakfast on the terrace was wonderful, with a view of the sea and the Circeo promontory behind it. A great experience.

The terrace breakfast overlooking the sea was lovely, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and bright, with a clean, comfortable feel throughout. I highly recommend it.

My stay never even got started. Before I had time to arrive, I understood the reviews warning that the owner was rude and unwelcoming. I booked three nights through Booking and was asked to make a bank transfer, even though they already had my credit card as a guarantee. The property's “policies” called for a deposit of about 60%. I didn't even get the chance to check or understand that, because I was asked to cancel the booking. You can decide for yourselves...

We stayed a few nights at this B&B on our way back from Pompeii and had a great time. There were lots of plants in the lovely garden out front. Our room was clean and had air conditioning, a small refrigerator, and a balcony with two comfortable loungers. Breakfast was a standard buffet, served on a terrace overlooking the sea, just a few dozen meters away. The main drawback was the many potholes on some of the nearby streets.
