We were traveling late at night to Pompei, still two hours away, so my wife and I took a chance on Hotel Anna, which was available. The security gate at the entrance blocks off a large compound of residences where the hotel is located, and that felt a bit ominous at first. Once inside, though, the hotel was bright, airy, cheerful, clean, and clearly well maintained. It felt safe, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, one of the best parts of our stay. We had a late dinner there and the food was good. Breakfast was average at best, with only cold items and no meat, cheese, or eggs. The room was clean, decent, and well maintained, but very basic, with no frills. The bathroom towels were clean but rough and as thin as cloth dinner napkins. The grounds were bright and cheerful, and the helpful staff made a big difference. It's a budget hotel, but a decent place for a night. We felt safe and had a clean, comfortable room. We didn't see the beach during our overnight stay, but heard it was nice.

The food was excellent, and the beach service with an umbrella and loungers was included. It’s a short walk to the sea, with the hotel set in a quiet private park. The outdoor areas are spacious and work well for families with children, and the atmosphere feels welcoming and family-like. Great value.

Lunch at the beach club was a highlight: fresh, tasty dishes, mostly seafood, changing daily, at fair prices. The simple restaurant has a colorful, welcoming veranda facing the beach, and the staff there were always courteous and smiling. The beach club really has everything you could want. We booked a 10-day family stay from March to the end of June, with our 13-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son. The four-bed room was comfortable and welcoming, and the hotel itself is a real gem, clean and very well kept. Staff were extremely kind and professional. Each time we came back, there was a pleasant clean smell in the stairwell. We were all impressed. It was a dream vacation, especially if you’re looking to relax somewhere unique. We highly recommend it.
