Villa Eleila

Super 💯

Okay.

The villa is clean and well kept, with air conditioning in every room, and the owner is very kind. The pool is small but very well cared for, though it’s shared with other guests. Privacy is limited because the balconies are separated only halfway by a shade cloth. Each room has a bathroom, but one is windowless and has no ventilation. Wi-Fi is free, and the TV is a very small 20-inch one. The owners work hard, but there’s room to improve. It’s on the Pontine coast near Porto Badino, 5-7 km from Terracina, so the Pontine exit feels a bit dangerous whenever you drive. The price is rather high for the amenities. Overall, it’s just adequate.

The owners were welcoming and helpful, and both the bungalow and pool were very clean. I stayed in a bungalow by the pool, where the space was admittedly limited but laid out efficiently and practically. They’d provided toilet paper, soap and detergent, sponges, cloths, paper towels, and other basics. The modest pool was enjoyable, clean, and not crowded. The price felt a little high since you have to drive a few minutes to the beach, and the pedestrian crossing isn’t ideal, though it’s still in line with the current market.
