We only discovered this fabulous restaurant on our last night in Tuscany, even though it was right on our doorstep. We’d travelled farther for food that wasn’t as good. The service was excellent, the attention to detail was outstanding, and everything we ate was delicious. We’d gone to a well-regarded restaurant in Florence for steak, but the steak my son and his partner had here was far superior. I’d highly recommend a visit, and we’ll definitely be back.

We came across this gem by chance while travelling in Tuscany and had a great experience from start to finish. The food, including everything we were invited to taste, was delicious. Service was friendly and professional, and the prices felt more than fair for the quality. Highly recommend 👍🏼

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with dinner at Osteria il Canto del Maggio. The food was divine, delicate, and thoughtfully prepared, and the chef really knows how to bring out the best in traditional Tuscan ingredients. The elegant, carefully decorated setting has clearly been put together with attention to every detail, yet it’s still welcoming to families and children.

On a Monday, most restaurants around here were closed, so finding this Osteria was a real blessing. I booked a table and headed up, only to discover that it’s also an astonishing hotel built like a little village. I loved the look of it straight away. I can only speak about the restaurant, which was fantastic. The people were lovely, the service was great, and they brought a welcome drink. The food was delicious and high quality. I had a filet steak with truffle and really enjoyed my time there. Thanks to the team.
