Isabella gave us lots of helpful advice and support, and that really made our holiday. The villa is lovely, with a great pool and plenty of shady spots to sit in the garden. The downsides were the biting insects, so come prepared, and the air conditioning wasn't great. It was unusually hot during our stay in June. You can hear some background noise because it's close to the Autostrada, though it wasn't like a UK motorway, and the location made it easy to get to other areas.

The pool was excellent, and the gardener and Isabella were a great help. The villa itself felt very overpriced at €3500 per week, when I think it should be €1000. It's close to a very noisy highway, so beware. There were three standard double beds and one standard single bed, with the rest being poor quality sofa beds. All the sinks were blocked when we arrived, some rooms had no mosquito nets, and only one room had air conditioning. The owner was unfriendly and didn't speak any English.

Isabella, the housekeeper, was lovely and ready to answer any questions. The house had everything needed for a holiday, with a great pool, a terrace with a table big enough for a large family, two fireplaces, and a huge fenced park that was perfect for our dog. There's also table tennis in the garden and plenty more. Shops are 5-7 km away, and there are lovely Tuscan restaurants nearby. Every window has a screen, so mosquitoes weren't a worry.
