Villa Serendipity Terrasini

My three cousins stayed for three nights, and their experience is why I gave this a low score. They called their stay at Villa Serendipity the “low-light” of their trip. One cousin said the accommodation in Teresini was her least favorite. The manager and her husband lived in one wing on the ground floor, and their son and his family were in the other. She felt she was intruding on their family life. Her room was comfortable for one person, or two without much luggage, but the shared spaces were small and used by both the family and guests. At check-in, the manager didn’t show them the shared kitchen or outdoor areas, so they had to work those out themselves. They only learned on the last day that the son’s family was staying temporarily while they looked for other housing. My second cousin also felt the guest quarters were too close to the family’s private home. The son was living there temporarily and had friends over during their stay. My cousin and the others went to bed early, while the family ate dinner late. Their room was next to the family, and the children played outside their door. At 11:45, she finally went to say she couldn’t sleep. They apologized, but there was constant coming and going late into the night, audible in every room, and she felt they had little privacy. I couldn’t stay myself because a family emergency forced me to return home immediately. I asked for a refund, but the owner upheld the no-refund policy despite my husband’s heart attack and the seriousness of the situation.

The service made us very happy, and we’d stay here again. It’s calm, with good beds, and just a five-minute walk to Terrasini center and its restaurants. There’s also a beautiful cliff beach very close by.

A perfect room and lovely hosts for a peaceful stay.

Such a warm, welcoming place. One of the best.
