Tesero itself is lovely, set in a beautiful valley, though it’s about an hour from the Brenner Highway exit and away from the well-known Dolomites spots. It’s easy to find on maps and worth a walk around. Watch out for drivers on the narrow streets, they can go at it like they’re on an F1 track. Lake Carezza was around 50 minutes away, and the cable car to Alpe di Suisi (Seiser Alm) took about an hour to reach. We found two or three good lunch and dinner places within walking distance, and the people there were welcoming and spoke English. We skipped breakfast at the B&B. There were six of us for a weekend, staying two nights. We booked through Booking.com, and the owner answered questions quickly and was flexible about our requests. She didn’t speak much English, but the translation tool made it easy to communicate. Our apartment had a living room with a kitchen, a master bedroom, a smaller bedroom, and one shared bathroom with a WC. It was clean and hygienic. There were double beds in the living room and master bedroom, and both had balconies. The smaller room had bunk beds and a little window. It was very warm in summer, and there were no fans. Sleeping was hard, especially in the small bedroom, where the bed didn’t face the window and ventilation was poor. Parking took a bit of thought with a large car. The marked spaces by the apartment were full, and with two cars and a motorbike we had to find spots nearby. Since we only needed parking overnight, we managed.
