Hotel Scoiattolo

The food was a highlight, both breakfast and dinner were incredible. There was lots to choose from at the breakfast buffet, and dinner came with a choice of two courses and dessert from the menu, plus a huge appetizer and salad buffet. Everything was tasty and high quality. Our room had plenty of space, wood decor, a small fridge, and a really comfortable large bed. The bathroom had a walk-in shower without a door 😉 and a separate toilet with a door 😉. The location suited us well, just 200m from the ski slopes. It could feel isolated if you’re after town life, since there are only 3-4 hotels and a skiing center nearby. We were very happy and would return. The staff made us feel welcome and well fed 😉🥰🤩

Restaurant review only. We had dinner with six adults and 3 kids. We ordered mains from the menu and vegetables from the buffet. The steak was cold and chewy, and there wasn’t a vegetarian option. The bright lights, noise, and lack of music gave the place more of a college canteen feel than a restaurant. I’ve had better pizzas. Not a good experience.

The spa area was cramped and crowded, with few facilities, which was disappointing. The rooms were comfortable, the restaurant was very good for both breakfast and dinner, and the staff were friendly and kind. The ski lifts are a short walk away, and there’s a hotel shuttle too. Still, a nice place.

We arrived a little early with our 3 young kids, and they checked us in anyway, no problem. The food had kid-friendly choices as well as delicious options for grownups, and the surroundings were amazing, with lots of great trekking. The service was the best part. Our oldest started feeling sick one afternoon, and the hostess offered to drive us to the hospital so my husband could stay with the two younger kids. After hours of checkups, she picked us up again at midnight, with no extra charge. My daughter said she was the nicest person she’d ever met ❤️ Thank you for a lovely stay.
