Ecovillage with swimming-pool in Teulada

The scenery around the resort is mesmerizing, and we felt the place could be incredible. But the service and facilities were disappointing. We checked in as a family of four for five days. The reception map and staff said all the beaches were a five-minute drive away and none were walkable. We later found two of the three alleged beaches within walking distance ourselves, though nobody had told us about them. There were only towels and sheets for two people on arrival, and just two chairs on the terrace. We asked for two more, but they took two days to arrive. The fridge didn't work either. After we asked about it on two consecutive days, on day four they brought in a second fridge and left it on the floor. Without a working fridge, we couldn't have dinner or breakfast in the room or on the terrace. The booking confirmation and other information from the hotel were all in Italian, which made it hard to tell what I had or hadn't booked. During our five days, the room wasn't cleaned and the towels and sheets weren't changed once. They charge for final cleaning, and breakfast costs 48 euros a day, which seemed surprising and very expensive for the quality.

There are three private beaches, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool is large, with plenty of sunbeds. Our apartment was a little dated, but it was clean, functional, and had a beautiful sea view. We'd definitely return.

The restaurant's pizzas were tasty, and Maria Anna at reception went out of her way to help us arrange a nice trip at sea. Everyone on the team was welcoming and did their best to make us comfortable. The rooms are simple but comfortable, and the peaceful setting has amazing sea views. The resort is huge and still has potential that hasn't been developed.

We pulled in for lunch while driving past, and it turned out to be the best meal of our week on the island. Everything we'd eaten had been delicious, but this lunch stood out. We ordered the seafood fugeualla, and unlike the touristy restaurants all around the island, theirs had loads of seafood and was just right. A really memorable meal, thank you.
