The pool shown in the listing is public, not a private pool belonging to the apartment, and the photo gives a misleading impression. It's a ten-minute walk away. Entry is free, but I'd save the money and choose somewhere more central. The apartment is on a very quiet hill, but it's quite remote. There's no bakery or other essentials within walking distance, and the nearest supermarket requires a car. The lake is too far to reach easily, and the road to the apartment has no lighting at night, making it difficult to arrive after dark. Bed linen and towels cost extra and aren't included in the basic rental price. There's no air conditioning, which could be a problem in warmer weather. Guests have to dispose of their own rubbish, and there weren't enough garbage bags, so we had to bring our own.

We'd just come back from a week in Prabione, which we highly recommend for its peace and proximity to the main attractions. The apartment we were given was spotless and had everything we needed. The owners were courteous and honest. I'd also like to apologize to Mrs. Bruna for the glass we broke just before leaving the apartment. Cristina. Florence

We found the owners welcoming and courteous. They even provided a microwave and a crib for our newborn. The place is quiet, tidy, and clean, and the three apartments are fully independent. It's good value, especially for a family wanting a quiet place to return to after long hikes. The municipal pool is 200 meters away, as is a small park with a soccer field. But there are no shops or bars in the hamlet of Prabione, so you have to go down to the center. After 8 p.m. it gets very quiet, perhaps a little too quiet. The beds need attention because they're uncomfortable and noisy. The TV is good, and Wi-Fi works adequately outside. The area has limited network coverage and won't have FTTC fiber for some time.

Bruna always has a smile on her face, and the landlords are so lovely. The apartments are all well maintained. Best accommodation I've had in years. I'd gladly stay again.

The mountain top location is worth keeping in mind. For peace and quiet, it's absolutely fantastic. Everything else is great!
