The pool was a real highlight, and Bruno and Paola were very friendly and helpful. Bruno understands German well despite speaking it brokenly. Paola was lovely too, though communication in German was difficult, and switching to English was a challenge. The setting at Casale di Pegol in Tignale is quiet and beautiful, with a fantastic view. Tignale is a pretty hillside town, around a 20-minute drive away. It is less touristy and quieter than the lake, but you need a car for nearly everything and the drive up and down takes time. Conad is relatively expensive, while restaurants in Tignale are rather cheap compared with Germany. It can get very hot in peak season, and there is no air conditioning, though that seems common around Lake Garda. The furnishings have Italian charm but feel old-fashioned, and everything was clean. Kitchen gear is basic, with no oven, microwave, or proper freezer, and the amenities overall seem deliberately limited. The shower is small but otherwise the bathroom is okay. The beds looked like prison beds and were badly worn, with the metal springs noticeable. After we asked, they were replaced with firmer mattresses, which was very positive. The couch was worn out too. The stay was lovely overall, but quite expensive, probably typical for the area. Given the price, we expected more comfort.

The vegetable garden was a favorite part of our stay at Casale di Pegol. We could pick plenty of fresh produce and made wonderful meals with it. Bruno's wine tasting was another special memory we'll keep. Paola welcomed us warmly on arrival and showed us the lovely, spotless apartment. It was always nice chatting with her and Bruno, who were also there when we had questions. You can feel how much care they put into the place, and that made the holiday special. The area around Tignale is breathtaking, whether you're driving or hiking. The town is peaceful and welcoming, with everything you might need. We had a wonderful holiday and will definitely return.

What stood out most was the hosts' warmth. They made us feel noticed and welcome, not like just another booking. We stayed a few lovely days in the holiday apartment as a small family with our four-year-old, and felt at ease from the start. The place was clean, cozy, and furnished with care. Our child was delighted, and we were too. We'd wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who values genuine hospitality.

We came with our rooftop tent, and there are also lovely, carefully furnished apartments with lake-facing terraces. Paola, Bruno, and Pietro welcomed us so warmly that we felt right at home. This farmhouse in the little village of AER gave us peace and time close to nature. Breakfast in the garden overlooking the lake and the barbecue were enchanting. We'll be back soon. Highly recommended whether you're staying in one of the apartments or arriving with a rooftop tent.
