Our weekend was completely ruined. We arrived Saturday evening to find no bed linen or towels included, and were told they cost 15€ per person. We also had to carry them ourselves to the apartment. The rooms had almost no useful equipment: the heating didn’t work, there was no kettle or coffee maker, and there wasn’t even a bathroom hook. There was no soap, shower gel, shampoo, or anything like that, and only one roll of toilet paper, so we had to buy more. With the grocery shops closed on Sunday, I don’t know how they expect people to shower for a couple of days. When I asked staff for help with the heating, they answered unpleasantly that I should wait until tomorrow, then kept putting it off again and again.

We had plenty of room for our family, and the apartment was clean. The balcony looked out over Lake Garda, the best view I’ve ever had on a vacation. The pool and fussball table were great too. Breakfast was decent, with good cold meats and bread, though there was no live omelette counter or anything similar. My only complaint was the bathroom layout: shower water easily spilled into the rest of the room.

The view was amazing, but the rest felt pretty average. I spent the whole week complaining that the wifi in our room didn’t work and got no help at all. The room itself was average, and the pool bar staff weren’t very friendly. They also leave rubbish in the passageway even though there are signs showing where it should go. Really below-average clientèle. I guess people who rate this above 3 stars have low standards, but that seems to be the average these days.

The hotel and apartments are nice, and the view is great. But there’s a dog kept in a cage beside the road that barks day and night, setting off other dogs too. Please do something about it.

The views were beautiful, and our apartment was very clean. Just be aware there was no bedding or towels provided. We only found out from the information at check-in that we could rent them for €15 per person. We paid €10 each for breakfast on the first morning, but it was so crowded getting food that I wish we hadn’t bothered.
