Villa San Valentino

We’ve already booked our next holiday here. The views are magnificent, the apartments are very clean and nicely furnished, and each has a terrace or balcony. The owners are very friendly.

The apartment was very clean, with modern furnishings, and the grounds were beautifully kept. It’s in the quiet village of Aer (Tignale), with wonderful views of Lake Garda, especially at night. There’s a small playground, sun loungers and a bench in the garden. Parking is right in front of the house, and the property is fenced with an electronic gate that needs a remote or code. We received an email from Ruculì Residence after booking, with an option to pre-check in and speed things up on arrival. Check-in is at Ruculì Residence in Oldesio, not at Villa San Valentino in Aer. Our apartment had a balcony with a table, parasol, four chairs, two sun loungers and a clothes rack. The kitchen had a table and five chairs, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, a gas hob, toaster, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, ironing board, broom and dustpan, bin, and dish and cleaning cloths. There’s no oven. The living area had a comfortable sofa, TV and wall unit. In the bathroom were a sink, toilet, bidet, shower, washing machine, towels and a towel warmer. There were two bedrooms with large wardrobes and bedside tables: one had a double bed, the other two single beds pushed together with a gap between them. With the pillows stuffed into the gap, all three children could sleep in one bed ;) Amazing, top-notch. We’d book again!

The apartment is self-contained, with a pool right in front of the house. The drive up the mountain takes a little while, but it’s worth it.

The booking was completely hassle-free, and we’re already looking forward to going back. The terrace had a stunning panoramic view. The apartment was practically brand new and the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in down south. It had all the essentials, including a toaster, coffee maker and microwave, plus a washing machine and iron.
