BB Antica Residenza Centro Storico

A delicious breakfast, phenomenal staff, and a wonderful room for a great price. It was easily the best night of my 14 night Europe trip. I’d definitely stay again.

Breakfast was hearty, and Elena was so lovely. She’d even set out a little table and toys for young children, such a thoughtful touch. We stayed one night on our way to the Bernina route, and the room for four was spotless and roomy, with a mattress we all found really comfortable. The place was wonderfully quiet, and Elena’s check-in instructions were spot on. Tirano is beautiful, and the walk from the station is a nice short stroll. The price felt very reasonable for four. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting. Thanks so much, Elena!

We could wander around Tirano without our bags because the staff let us leave them in a securely locked reception office and gave us a key to collect them before our Bernina Express train. When we returned, a staff member was there and kindly called us a taxi. Communication had been excellent from booking through arrival, and the apartment is an easy walk from both the station and the Bernina Express. It’s right in central Tirano, with shops, cafes, and restaurants close by. The old rustic character sits nicely with the modern touches, and the elevator is useful for luggage or getting to an upper floor. Breakfast is included, with plenty to choose from in a separate breakfast room, though food isn’t allowed in the rooms. I’d happily recommend the place and stay again. A handrail on the stairs and one extra pillow would be welcome.

Being right in the old town was a real plus, and breakfast was simple and nice. Our room was near a bar and restaurant on the town square, so we could hear people chatting outside. Closing the windows and using the quiet air conditioning solved that for us. Inside, the old floorboards, windows, and shutters worked beautifully with the newer wooden furniture and fittings. The room felt warm and elegant, the bed was wide and comfortable, and there was a kettle and small fridge. The bathroom was very up to date, with lovely-smelling soaps. I really recommend this place.
