Berghotel Pine

Traveling alone with my dog, I felt completely at ease here. The rooms, common areas, and surroundings all made it easy and enjoyable to bring my four-legged companion. I’m a woman in my 30s, and the hotel was wonderfully dog-friendly. The staff quickly arranged gluten-free bread and other options at breakfast when I mentioned on arrival that I have celiac disease. That kind of care really impressed me. The prices are fair, and you can feel how much heart and effort the family puts into running this charming hotel. There are two buildings, one for apartments and one for the hotel. I stayed in the hotel, and it was delightful overall. The only small drawback was that rooms could be a bit noisy at times, but that didn’t take away from a wonderful stay. The service was warm, attentive, and personal in a way you rarely find. The little garden with the pool is a gem for relaxing. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming, relaxing, authentic stay.

We got lucky picking this hotel. The family running it goes above and beyond, and the amenities are amazing. Our room was quiet, with a comfortable bed and a beautiful view. Breakfast was lovely every morning, and the dinners were fantastic too. The bus stop is right outside, hiking trails are close, and you can walk to the cable car for the Rosengarten area.

Tiers has a magical setting beneath the NP Rosengartengruppe, and I loved the location. The hotel has a lovely spa, a fun game room, a very friendly owner, and a strong quality-to-price ratio. The in-house HP is a good deal, though I wish they offered some gourmet extras for an additional charge, like an à la carte menu or fresh-squeezed orange juice. If you’re not picky about food, it makes a great base for exploring this part of the Dolomites for 3-4 days.
