The receptionist was friendly and helpful, and the Wi-Fi was free and fast. Toiletries, complimentary tea bags, and a kettle were provided in the room. Breakfast was good, with a decent range to choose from, though there were no non-vegetarian options. For a hotel claiming four stars, the place barely seems like a three-star property. There’s no parking facility, so you have to block the road to get in or out of a vehicle. There’s a good-sized walking area in front that seems wasted. The rooms are very small, with hardly enough space for two people to move around and nowhere to put luggage. The bathroom is tiny too.

The Wi-Fi was almost nonexistent. I asked the manager twice to fix it; she said it should work, but it never did. She’s very rude, and from what I can see I’m not the only person who’s complained. She likes to swear at clients who don’t speak Italian. The rooms are very small, and one night the manager tried the door handle. If you want a good experience, don’t choose this hotel.

At breakfast, the manager stood by the table and told guests what they could have. We were limited to one croissant, and nearly all our friends got scolded at some point. The woman who owns or manages the hotel was very rude to guests. It’s also about 25 km from central Rome. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The welcome from the lady of the house was warm and friendly, and the rooms were exceptionally clean with plenty of good quality towels. A few extra pillows and toilet rolls would be useful. It’s a good place to stay for Tivoli Gardens or Villa Adriano, and there’s a tasty, good value home cooking restaurant called Nobel about a 300 metre walk away in lovely gardens.

Very polite, helpful staff, and there’s a supermarket right next door, which was handy. The room was spacious and very clean, though the bed squeaked with every turn. Breakfast was simple. We also appreciated the dedicated parking beside the hotel, and it’s only a few minutes’ drive from Tivoli.
