Mrs. Patrizia, the castle's castellan, greeted us with a smile and was always on hand if we needed anything. This quiet, secluded place is a convenient base for visiting Umbria. The thousand-year-old building was restored and adapted for tourists in 2012, and the pool in the well-kept garden was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend it.
The apartments had everything we needed, and there’s a large, well-kept pool and covered parking. It’s a peaceful, beautiful spot with a special atmosphere and great views. We were bothered a little by all the flies and flying ants.
Down in the countryside below Todi, we had a lovely stay in a small, welcoming house with a classic Umbrian feel. A wonderful experience, and recommended.
It’s a lovely hamlet, about 9 km from Todi. Too bad the road is in such poor shape.
