Relais Todini

The hardest part was having to leave. We loved the food so much that we ate at the incredible Restaurant on both of our free evenings, then spent the third night at a wonderful wine tasting. Claudia made everything feel special, and Francesca and the rest of the restaurant staff were terrific too. It was a magical stay in a beautiful, luxurious hotel, with the best service I’ve experienced. I’ve read the other reviews, and honestly, I can’t put it better than they have.

We were there for four nights for a friend’s wedding nearby, and the views alone were something else. The food was excellent, and the staff were knowledgeable and attentive while still being relaxed about it. One thing I should probably have mentioned at the time: our mattress had two obvious dips from use and seemed ready to be replaced. After checkout, Leo Wild was a lovely place for us to explore before our flight home. We had a wonderful time.

The breakfast was included, and I may have gone a bit overboard with it. The food was fantastic, and the staff were so friendly and helpful that they seemed happy to do anything for us. Relais Todini is easily one of the best hotel stays I’ve had. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a few quiet days away.

The restaurant deserves a visit: the food was excellent, even for this former Parisian, and the prices were very reasonable. The house wines were excellent too, and it’s worth visiting the winery and buying some if you can. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless, though on the small side. Still, the elegant, peaceful common rooms made up for the limited space. There’s a tennis court, a lovely pool, great service, and excellent internet throughout. A tasty stay, with charm and good food, in a calm setting with lovely hill views. Good prices as well.
