La Casa Di Baba'

The views from both balconies are lovely, and the house sits in a hamlet near Tonco, with Asti and Turin about an hour away. We found it a handy place to explore the area by car or on foot. There's parking in front, and the house is enclosed by a wall or fence. The apartment is on the first floor of what used to be a private home. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great, though we skipped the rather small bathtub. The hosts were especially friendly and helpful, and spoke good English. No Wi-Fi, but phone coverage was strong, with good 4G and 5G. Bring mosquito repellent, since there were lots of mosquitoes in the mornings and evenings. Percolators are provided for coffee. We would have liked a comfortable balcony chair and a pool in the garden. Within walking distance there's a guest house where the hosts live, with a pool and sun loungers. You can also arrange a meal there in advance, and the view is stunning too.
