When I have a day to wait in Milan, this is usually where I stay. It feels rural and quiet, with very few tourists, and it's close to the airport. The rooms are cozy, and the basic facilities are clean and tidy. About a 400-meter walk away, there's a nice viewpoint with coffee and ice cream shops, plus an old chapel and bell tower.

I never even made it inside the property, but when I found out it wasn't accessible as advertised, neither the hotel nor Agoda would cancel my booking or offer even a partial refund. That was really disappointing and unprofessional. Agoda's customer service was no help when I needed support, so I strongly advise against using the app. As a solo traveler, I booked ahead expecting Airport Hotel Malpensa to be easy to reach from the airport. The name is misleading: getting there is a hassle unless you're willing to pay €30-€40 or more for each taxi ride, or €60-€120 for Uber. I'd recommend staying near Milano Centrale instead, perhaps at Hotel Delle Nazioni, and taking the €5-€10 airport bus. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone relying on public transport or looking for real airport convenience.

There aren't any nearby restaurants, and there's no public transport in the area. A taxi or regular Uber costs about €40, and getting from the hotel to the train station is €35-€40 each time. This only makes sense if you have your own vehicle. For easier travel, I'd stay by another train station with public transport. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a convenient location. It's not a good place to stay.

The staff were all lovely, and the hotel was very clean. Breakfast was great, and there are lots of local places to eat other meals. We relied on taxis, which was fine. The airport shuttle was reliable and reasonably priced, and a taxi from the airport costs about 30 euros. You can use the shuttle to get to the airport, then take regional services or the Malpensa express. Como is about an hour away, and Milano centrale or Cordona are a similar distance, with good sightseeing options.

The rooms are large, nicely decorated and clean, with clean linens, comfortable beds and plenty of electrical outlets. There are night lights beside the beds, a modern, pleasant bathroom, a fridge and an electric kettle. The desk is staffed 24 hours, the WiFi is excellent, and the ground floor has no stairs. Breakfast was attractive, parking is free, and the price is reasonable for the value. It's 6m from the airport. The drawbacks were the lack of air conditioning and dim lighting in the room.
