The food is local and the prices are fair, though they could stock more Sicilian beers. The rooms are huge and full of plants, and the beach is only four minutes away. It's a nice place to stay near Messina. I'd also recommend visiting Comune di Monforte San Giorgio. Buon viaggio e buon divertimento!

We picked this spot while visiting friends in Sicily, and it worked out perfectly since their house was just a ten-minute walk away. The pool is lovely, and the beach is only a few minutes on foot. The staff are really friendly, too. It's a handy base for exploring the island's north side.

The outdoor areas look nice, but inside things felt quite different, so I was surprised by the gap between the 4.5 score and what we found. Our room was dated, with a very small bathroom, and noise traveled so much that a neighbor using the toilet at night sounded like he was in our bathroom. Getting to the rooms means carrying all your luggage up an outdoor staircase. Breakfast needs a lot of improvement, with eggs, fresh juice, and some buns as a start. The cleaning lady was very friendly and the cappuccino was pretty good, but that wasn't enough for such a high score.

The room's old-fashioned woodwork and quilted floor felt like a refreshing change. The reception was the friendliest I've ever experienced.

The guy at the pool was top-notch.
