Villa Salvatore

I booked and paid for a stay for my family on 3.10.2023. The owner was pleasant enough in our dealings, always friendly, as is usual in Italy. His wife, though, was unbelievably rude. She didn't greet us, just gave orders and humiliated us. We had only just arrived and hadn't done anything, so I asked the owner why she was treating us so badly. He said she was simply like that and we would have to accept it. I said no, we're paying guests and expect at least a basic level of respect and kindness. She became hysterical, and so did I. I won't let anyone humiliate my family or me. We moved to another, friendlier apartment within minutes, but she kept most of what we'd paid and didn't give us a full refund.
