Beautiful panorama, and so quiet.

The view over the lake and mountains is gorgeous, and the setting is peaceful. The apartment standards differ, but ours was adequate. The agency looking after things was very good. We had to move because the old stove didn’t work, only to find the stove in the next apartment was just as useless. We couldn’t even boil an egg, and it really needs replacing before the new season. Also, unless you’re over 30, you’ll need a car. 😜

The pool was nice and the view was a real pleasure, but the apartments cost too much for what they offer. The place wasn’t well equipped, something seemed broken everywhere, and the toilet bowl had unpleasant stains all over it.

Those lake views, especially from the first floor balconies, are wide open and beautiful. The apartments themselves have a real 70s look, from the furniture to the tiles, though aside from ordinary wear, things were in good condition. The beds were comfortable and firm enough, and every window had shutters that blocked out the light completely. Temperature was a problem for us during the rainy May of 2023. The first floor units have no heating or air conditioning, while the lower ones do have AC. Down on the hillside, ground floor windows look straight onto a concrete wall. We couldn’t get the indoor temperature above 20 degrees Celsius. The apartment for six was pretty sparsely equipped. It had kitchen chairs and a sofa bed that could sleep at most three, and only five small and three large drinking glasses. No wine or champagne glasses. There was one outlet for the microwave, toaster, kettle, and coffee maker, which only made four cups. A simple power strip would help. The shared washing machine is in a separate pool room, with no laundry basket and a floor that’s always wet. It wasn’t especially clean, though we’re fussy. The main issue was dust beneath the beds and in every corner. A few small improvements, maybe €50 worth, could make it feel much less bare.
