North House - Sleeps 4 Shared Pool Lake View in Torri del Benaco

We had the South Apartment on the first floor over Easter. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, it was roomy enough for four, and we had two balconies overlooking the lake. The pool is downstairs. You reach the stairwell through the garage, so getting around a bigger car parked inside takes some careful maneuvering, but it can be done. Finding the building entrance was confusing at first: GPS tells you to stop about 500 meters too far along. If you’re coming from Garda, look about 20 meters before Hotel Eden. The kitchen has everything you need, though the microwave could do with an update. My main complaint is the living room furniture. The two armchairs are very worn, and the old IKEA table doesn’t look or feel on a par with the rest of the apartment. It’s not a comfortable setup for four people in the evening. The dining table and chairs are worn too, and the chairs wobble quite a lot. Such a shame, and something that needs sorting soon. Torri den Benaco’s lovely village is around a 5-minute walk to the right. You’ll need a car to get to Garda and Bardolino.

A superb holiday apartment, modern and very well equipped.
