Arbatax Sa Omu Bianca

Francesco was welcoming and very helpful throughout our week in the Piscine di Venere room. The room was lovely, with a very large bathroom, and everything was clean. They even changed the towels during the week. We also made good use of the little balcony kitchen for breakfast and, when needed, lunch and dinner.

The washing machine was handy, but that was about the only plus. We were right by the main road with constant noise, the fridge was loud, and the rooms weren’t cleaned. There were rats or mice running around on the balcony, too. The landlord didn’t keep his word. What’s supposed to justify five stars here? Never again, definitely not recommended.

Norma, her husband, and Giustino took great care of us during our summer holiday at Sa Omu Bianca, from August 6th to 15th. We had a wonderful stay with our two young children, ages 3 and 7. Our two-bedroom room was spacious and welcoming, and cleanliness was clearly a priority, with daily cleaning. Norma was accommodating, handled our requests, and suggested good places to visit and eat. The property is 5 to 20 minutes by car from some of the most beautiful beaches, though you’ll need a car to get around to all the places you want to see. I’ve already recommended it to family and friends exploring Sardinia’s eastern coast, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone reading this.

The hosts were so kind and helpful, and we had a great three-day stay. Everything you need is in the rooms, including a little fridge that came in handy for beach supplies. They cleaned the rooms every morning. The location between Arbatax and Tortoli is great, with everything about a 10-minute drive away. The road in is unpaved for a short stretch, but that wasn’t much of an issue. We’d happily return and recommend it.
